  • The Great Joke of the Universe

    The-Great-Joke-of-the-Universe Chad McMillan

There is a great secret I've learned to finding your way in life, and I call it the great joke of the universe.

You see, everything we’re taught growing up is mental based.. solving problems with logic and reason, and sure this holds it’s place, but soo many people make decisions solely based on that.  People look for guarantees, and assurances, sure things, and major comforts before doing anything.

    thegreatjokeoftheuniverse

But this is just it, and part of why so many of us may feel disconnected in our experiences with the world..

The universe is not going to ever give you any sure thing, or assurances, or guarantees, or major comforts on these levels when it comes to you making a choice for yourself in your life.

In fact, the universe sets us up on the regular, every day, challenging us to grow DESPITE THIS.  Meanwhile, that for us to grow, the universe wants us to trust, and feel, and take chances.  NOT to be robots, NOT to be imprisoned in our own minds expecting everything to make complete and total sense, without any risk.

The universe actually wants us to leap into the unknown.  Everyday.  Over and over and over again.  To follow our guts, and to trust our instincts, blindly in fact, to the point of pure faith and trust in the fact that our entire universe is one large fantastic blessing of playful, creative synchronicity, magic, and grand design.

    Truly.

As you do this you begin to communicate with the universe, and as you communicate with the universe you see it so obviously in front of you.  The first leap feels so nerve wracking, and maybe the second, but then you begin to enjoy the energy of growth and growing, and begin to feel more comfortable and confident in taking these leaps.

    Why?

We’ve all heard the phrase, leap, and the net will appear.

Well, I’m here to tell you that this is exactly what happens, and this is the grand joke of the universe.

Don’t ask for sure things, ask for insights and guidance on what your own next moves should be.  Collect all of the information you can around you, but then feel into what feels right and go for it, even if some of what it looks like is still unclear.

From my experience, I can assure you and will pretty much short of a guarantee in my own right promise you, that as soon as you begin to trust and navigate in this way you will see and find the magic, all of it, just waiting for you on the other side.

This my friends, is the great joke of the universe.  And I call it a joke, because as and when we take these leaps, through our old patterns and fears and through ourselves, and see how everything actually lines up, and syncs, and plays and dances in alignment with us as well do, that all of we can is laugh.  Laugh in pure joy and gratitude and appreciation and wonder, and how all of this can possibly be so, and just how beautiful and special it all really is, that it is.

Great piece. Leant so much more about how the universe is trying to work for me; but all I have to do is ask, take steps and trust that it will all work for my good.
