    My-Best-Core-Productivity-Software-Tools Chad McMillan

When diving deep into a project, it’s all too easy to overcomplicate strategic planning and lose your path. Overthinking it creates a chaotic mess of tasks and subtasks that slow the flow and limit creativity.

Strategic planning is the key to achieving freedom and abundance, but it can also pull you and your team away from actually sitting down, doing the work and getting things done. In line with true digital minimalism, I’ve found it easy to pinpoint the right productivity tools by looking at each tool as a means to an end, not the end itself -  these simple tools add value to my strategic planning process and my everyday life, while helping me create the path to continue moving forward and get to where I want to go.

With that in mind, here are my go-to, sweet and simple planning tools that drive me, and my team, to get on with doing the work that really matters:

    Gmail

The way we communicate - email. Accessible through any device, simple, easy to use and to keep fresh and organized.

    Google Calendar

The way we connect - meetings. I’m flowing creatively, financially and socially and this easy scheduling tool keeps me going (and getting) to my next step.

    Wunderlist

The way we plan – on the go. As I flow through the day, we look forward and plan for the future. This is how I manage the day’s tasks - my team’s and mine.

    Evernote

The way we flow – in the moment. Thoughts come and go, inspiration happens; this tool saves it for the right times.

Simple, easy and value-adding tools that keep me, my team and my projects flowing, moving forward and getting to where we want to go.
